Anna is listed as Allen's daughter in 1920's Census. She was employed as a nurse. In 1910, she was living with her uncle, J. Milton Harris, in Potter County, where she was working as a nurse. Based on this information, it appears likely that Anna was not listed in the 1900 Census and, quite likely, was a twin sister to Alvin, born in March of 1887.

After his death, son Gordon went to live with relatives (John and Media Brasch) in Mansfield, Cattaraugus County, Flora took a job as cook at Keuka College in Jerusalem (now Keuka Park), Yates County. Her youngest daughters (Marion and Fredrica) were with her. In 1920, Flora was living with daughter Florence, her husband, Joseph Watson, and their family in Wayne, Michigan. In 1930, Flora and her youngest daughter, Dorothy, lived in Detroit.
